Tzatziki


A must-learn in my opinion. So expensive at the store but much cheaper to make at home. Enjoy with veggies, pita or practically any Greek dish.





Ingredients

Servings: 4 cups
  • Cucumber - 1
  • Greek Yogurt - 2 cups
  • Sour Cream - 1/2 cup
  • Lemon - 1
  • Dill - 3 Tbsp
  • Green Onion - 3
  • Grainy Dijon Mustard - 2 Tbsp
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Apple Cider Vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt and pepper



Directions

Grate cucumber and press in a strainer to remove water. Sprinkle with salt. Chop up green onion, dill and garlic. Squeeze lemon. Combine cucumber, Greek yogurt, sour cream, chopped things, grainy mustard, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Stir, and refrigerate for 30+ minutes. Serve with veggies, pita or practically any Greek dish.




Step-by-step Directions

Grate all of your zucchini
Squeeze out as much water as you can, sprinkle with salt
Try a shot? Enjoy it? Probably hate it?
Chop up green onion, dill and garlic
Squeeze one whole lemon
Combine cucumber, Greek yogurt, sour cream, chopped things, grainy mustard, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice
Stir, and let sit in fridge for 30+ minutes
Sprinkle with paprika
Enjoy!
